Hello to you all, I can't keep up with you.  ;) You have the right family, it would seem that they had returned to Maesteg if Gwen was registered in Bridgend.

Hi who where the parents of Letitcia Morgan as on 1891 census is a married LETTIE Davies 28 with a David & Jemima Morgan

No not her at marriage as a Minor her father was James.

Think this is her in 1871 - mother living with father and brothers in law in Briton Ferry

Think this is James in 1851 - there's a death in Neath district in 1869 that fits his age and the family info on 1871

 Yes Letitia's parents were James and Ann, they lived in Briton Ferry. James had
died by the time the 1871 census  was taken; leaving Ann (who was actually 30ys) a widow and the three girls living with her in-laws. I haven't found what happened to Ann or the two sisters yet either. I think I'll have to leave them in 1871 for the
time being! 

 It also seems that it's almost impossible to find out what happened during William
and Letitia's 'missing years'. This is turning out to be a really difficult family! I was warned it wouldn't be easy and it's certainly proving to be the case!
 
 Thank-you all for having a look for them, also for the newspaper item Mabel. My
husband was rather shocked by it, he thought she had died of some childhood illness, and that would have been bad enough. The accident must have left the family totally devastated at the time.
