Hello,

Mary married Thomas Beagley in Frensham in 1787. Can anyone find a baptism for her in the local area? She died in Farringdon, Hampshire in the 1840s. In the 1841 Census she says that she's born outside of Hampshire.

I'd appreciate any help!

I thought Bettesworth quite an unusual surname until I started looking for baptisms

Mary 31 March 1749 Lambeth St Mary parents Charles and Mary

That is the only one I can find in Surrey but there are also these...

The Bettesworth (and variants) were often found in Trotton, Midhurst, Woolbeding, Chithurst, Iping, Elstead, Linchmere, Treyford, Kirdford, Fyning, Rogate, Turwyke, Harting, Easeborne, and Wollavington in West Sussex, so it might help you to look in those directions.
