Couple of marriages I can't find

Hello,

For all I know these marriages never took place but I have found the women's maiden names from the GRO:

William Salter and Elizabeth Hobbs, living in Bremhill in the 1830s

James Moore and Sarah Pope, living in Calne and Highway in the 1840s

James Provis and Sarah Webb, living in Bremhill in the 1840s

I'd appreciate any help!

James was of this parish and Sarah of ? Malford, so the marriage may have taken place there.

There is this marriage for William Salter, but wrong name for bride. Could it have been a second marriage for her?  Again banns rather than marriage

I had that marriage down before but could never find an Elizabeth Hope. Probably is Hobbs.

The obvious marriage for William Slater and Elizabeth is at Bremhill 4.5.1826
William Slater labourer and Elizabeth Hope both this parish bach and spins
with consent of parents

I know that doesn't match the GRO or the potential baptism for Elizabeth Hobbs and a birth c 1797 Leigh Delamere.

William seems to have been baptised 20.9.1801 s of Joseph  and Elizabeth Driver
It is suggested that dad Joseph who was illegitimate s of Diana Driver 7.6.1767 may have had a father called Salter.

But I can't see a marriage under Driver either.

That's great, thanks! How did you come to the Driver/Salter conclusion? So was William christened as Salter or Driver in 1801?
