Hi all,

Does anyone have any connection to Elizabeth Penfold, c 1862 Groomsbridge, Kent, married Joseph Ball dob c 1857 Rosley, Lincolnshire, both from travelling showmen families?

I am trying to confirm their children as different sources, family and census, give conflicting, although not completely different, results and I am not sure if I have the right family.

My interest is with the Ball family, my direct link.

If their births were registered you can look for them on the new GRO births index, which shows the maiden name.  You need to register but it is free.

I found this one:   William Ball  MQ  1879  Sevenoaks   2A   581     (mother Penfold)    :-\
