Hi Malcolm,

Thank you for such a prompt response! I live in South Africa :)

Dawn is related closely to my maternal grandfather, Denys Stapylton-Adkins. I'm not sure how exactly but I think they may be first or second cousins or something of that sort!

It's all very interesting because I know that my great-grandfather (Denys' father) actually changed his surname from Scullard to Scott in the early 1900s, and am wondering why!

We must be related somehow, Malcolm! How wonderful to 'meet' you!
