William Woodside and Amelia Woodside

I think I may have located records of the family but still tracing them (quite interesting it's turning out to be) but need you to confirm that the William Woodside we are looking for is definitely the son of Margaret Woodside of Shrigley with a daughter Margaret Ann (Woodside) Stevenson.

That's great as it is (finally) the correct Woodside family I've found! William's age well off from age declared when he enlisted!

A Letter from his mum making enquiries about her sons whereabouts

Brilliant! Nice when things start to fall into place.

The 1907 letter looking for son William ties him to the service record, 1911 census, and a mother Margaret with father William listed in 1918 marriage.
Then, looking for a William Woodside with wife Margaret & children William, George, Margaret leads to other records.
Births for those children show mother was Margaret Thompson & father was a blind fiddler named William.
