Hi alan14578, thanks for the information on that, i will look into getting that cd, i have looked at the Andersons in selkirk and in particular the Anderson who was a surgeon linked to Mungo park, but i can't seem to find a link to my family, there was also a Anderson who was a farmer and one who was a mason around the 1830-1850s period.
The Anderson and mungo link makes interesting reading and one of the sons went with Mungo on his journey to explore africa, but unfortunately died there.
