Hi Di
May I take you up on your kind offer of research at Lancashire Record Office please?
LRO (at Preston) hold a great deal of material relating to the Stanley family, Earls of Derby, who owned land in Cheshire (as well as many other places).
I am interested in records from Macclesfield and Macclesfield Forest in Cheshire.
There are 2 documents I should like to see (well, lots! but these 2 are favourite at the moment

.
These are the reference numbers:
DDK/458/26 - 1676 “Four Indentures of Attornment for their several Estates in the Forest of Macclesfield.”. Edward Taylor.
DDK/458/28 - 1676 “Three Indentures of Release of their several Estates and interests in several tenements in Macclesfield Forest.” Edward Bostock.
My guess is there is a box number ‘458’, and ‘26’ and ‘28’ are the numbers of the documents inside it.
I know you can take photographs of documents at Preston. Is this something you would be able to do? and then send them to me via email? I would be happy to pay the photography fee for the day. - I have searched their site, but can’t find how much they charge - other ROs charge about £5.
Let me know if you think this would be feasible.
Many thanks for the offer.
