I am trying to find when and where Mary Ann Lawrence born 1816 Salehurst and James Pearch born 1814 Sundridge married.
I have checked both vilage parish registers and still nothing.  The eldest child i know of was born 1840 in sundridge although some of the younger children were born in salehurst and mountfield. any suggestions??? ??? ??? ???

Denise,
had a look for their marriage on the Sussex marriage Index and they're not there.  Latest marriage in the name Lawrence is 1843, so if it did happen in Sussex it should be there, so I think they married outside of the county. Also the name Pearch/Perch only appears in the 1700's & only just a few.
 Have you tried FreeBMD?
