Thanks everyone. Lots to go on from there, despite the fact I had a bit of a moment and gave the wrong century! (Now amended.)

I wonder whether they (apart from Thomas) remained in the area. I think the Samuel and Abraham I gave marriage details for, were a generation later, born in the Early 19th century. All of them were carpenters, so it seems to have been a family trade.

There was also an older Samuel and Mary living in Maldon in 1841, which could be the son of George and Mary,, perhaps.

The Only burial in stisted that I found up to about 1850 was George Canham on 10 June1815 aged 76, who I reckon is your George? There are no other baptisms for any names similar, which makes me think the spellings just vary over time.
Jamiesons, Martins and McGonigals of Coleraine, Londonderry
and
Cullens, Grahams and Challenors of Dublin county and city.

Charles Cannom , spouse Lucy HOBBS , parents Charles Cannom SR and Emma Bowers, born in Maldon St Peter,  Essex 1904 and passed in 1975 Frome, I was wondering if you knew any more :) thanks!
