I have just found some information for Ernest William Eveleigh born c.1887 Hemyock, Devon that he served in the Army during WW1 - would greatly appreciate some help as I don't know where to go from here. Thank you

Free BMD has Ernest William B Eveleigh born dec quarter 1887
does the B indicate Brodie which would tie into the 39 register ?

According to GRO Index "B" stood for Blackmore. No mother's maiden name recorded.
In 1891 Ernest recorded living with grandparents, William and Emma Eveleigh, at Lower Mackham, Hemyock. (In Wellington, Somerset, registration district)

Still living with grandparents in 1901.
In 1911 living as boarder in house hold of John and Alice Harris, Upottery. Grand mother also present . Shown as age 23, "widow".

The Western Times, 1 Nov 1915
We are pleased to record that Ernest Eveleigh, of Upottery, has joined the Yeomanry.

Is it just info. re his army record you are seeking?
An Ernest Eveleigh, of Rawridge, married a Miss Agnes Mary Wyatt at Upottery on 28 Jan 1920.
