It must have only just happened, it was working a few minutes ago.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

It's been down since about 3.20ish.

Cleaner must've unplugged the server to vacuum the mat.

I was using it before lunch, but it's unavailable now.

Not just the front page either. Links direct to datasets are failing too.

For some reason, the blogs section is still up, though the links from, say, FindMyPast Fridays fail.
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.
