Hi Melia, I may be able to shed light on the PRICE/PLUMB side of the Annie Richards saga. Annie was my Great, Great Grandmother (through her first marriage to William Price). Annie did indeed marry a PARKER after my Great, Great Grandfather (William Price) died at a relatively young age due to an accident. The children of the first marriage were put into an orphanage and Annie then married a PARKER and moved to Charters Towers (she came back to retrieve the youngest child) and had a number of other children with Mr PARKER. My Great Grandfather was one of the children left behind in the orphanage. The PLUMB name has always been a mystery in the family as we were aware that Annie used the name (rather than PRICE). We have never been able to establish why. Annie is definitely the same woman. We think that there may have been something to do with Annie's first husband (my Great, Great Grandfather) 'jumping ship' (a common occurrence) when he arrived in Australia in around 1866 on the Golden South (at the port of Maryborough in Queensland). As I see that Solomon Richards eventually died in Maryborough, it seems as though Annie was based there at the time that my Great, Great Grandfather arrived. Perhaps her father had moved there after his various marriages and some of the children from his first marriage followed him there from Adelaide.
I am Australian but have lived in London for the past 27 years and would love to reach out separately to discuss the family tree further as we are related through this interesting/messy side of the family. PS Annie had a lot of children in total and her children all had large families - there are many, many, many descendants of the Richards in Australia.
