Having seen the facts on the CWGC website I think it says

In [?proud] and
[?loving] memory of
Flight Sergeant
Ralph Frederick Garrod
only son of
Florence and Arthur Garrod
who gave his life
for his country
on air operations June 24 1943
buried Municipal Cemetery
Calgevinne Belgium.

By the way, this memorial is at Hertford, not Hereford.
