Thank you for your responses. Dankent - I wonder if you could please tell me the name and birth year or baptism of your 5 x gt , the brother of Ann, then I could likely get the right parents. If Michael and Ann (Platts) are the right parents I already have Ann's siblings as William 1751, Mary 1754, Sarah 1759, Elizabeth 1762, John and Hannah (twins) 1766.
Meanwhile I've been looking at the DNA Thru Lines. It has come up with my Bond line from Ann as I expected, but off to the side it gives me Samuel NOTON born 1811, a child of Ann, as a "half 4th great granduncle". I have several DNA connections to him but none of the trees have any references that could help, just copied from one another but my Ann must be his mother. I've been looking around the PRs and found the two marriages of Ann BRIGHTMORE in the same year 1777, same place, same vicar. So I'm sure there must be two of them probably cousins. I wonder if maybe Ann Noton couldn't conceive so Ann Bond had a baby for her. The baby continued with the surname NOTON and named Richard Noton as his father when he married.
However it still doesn't prove her parentage, so hopefully more info from Dankent can help with that.
