Fintrach Hotel

Hi I'm looking for Any information regarding the Fintrach Hotel.
My nans biological mother worked here when she was 17 prior to falling pregnant. This would have been 1932. The Manager's name was Albert Gregory Hoskins.
Any information/pictures would be gratefully received.

The only thing I can find by Googling Fintrach Hotel is a Bankruptcy Order against an Agnes Jane Grieve of London "lately carrying on business and residing at the Fintrach Hotel, Hayling Island, Hants - Hotel Proprietress" That is from the London Gazette 18 July 1933.

Thanks for looking that's all I could find too. I thought it could be near the old Puff and Billy line original as I pronounced it as 'ThinTrack Hotel'

The address given in several newspaper adverts in the 1930s is "9 & 10, The Crescent, Hayling Island"

Other references refer to "overlooking the Spithead" and "Right on the sea front. Near the golf club"

Shows the Golf course/Club house. Cannot spot "The Crescent" - only a "Norfolk Crescent" (scroll west).

Hello

"Spithead" was an area of the sea channel (water) between Portsmouth and the North-Eastern side (Ryde coast) of the Isle of Wight.

Suggesting the West side of Hayling Island, if the location overlooked Spithead.

Checking the properties that surround "The Crescent" on the 1911 Census (cannot post details - policy) I feel sure that "The Crescent" = "Norflolk Crescent" as shown on the 1932 map.
