Yes, Scott is so common.  That's why this is so difficult.  I am also trying to collaborate with the many family trees posted to Ancestry.com

I wonder if their daughter Eleanor was named after anyone.  They seem to have named children 'Thomas' & 'Margaret'  possibly after Frances's parents

I looked back 2 generations and found No Eleanor.   Hmmmm....    ??  Unless it is a middle name that I do not have for one of their family members.
