Thomas BURNS/ Battle of Loos

Can anyone please help with any military information on Thomas BURNS.

All I know he was a Private with the Royal Scots Fusiliers and died at the Battle of Loos in 1916 aged 32.  Born 1883 and married 1903 in Newcastle.

Sorry I don't have his number.

Was his name wife's name Martha which is the wife of the man nanny jan cites.  The Battle of Loos took place in 1915.

More if you can confirm that although I find no other Thomas Burns of that regiment.

Burns 17675 was born in Troqueer, Kircudbrightshire,  according to the Scottish National War Memorial.

And lived in Maxwelltown Dumfrieshire.  Was in the 6th Battalion, went to France in August 1915.  The war diary has a very detailed account by the Commanding Officer of the action by 6th R Scots Fus on 24-26 Sep 1917 in which this Thomas Burns was among the missing and whose death was presumed to have occurred on 25 Sep 1915.  He is among the 414 men of the Royal Scots Fusiliers who have no known grave and who are commemorated on the Loos Memorial cited by nanny jan earlier.

The information I have been given says he was married in Newcastle 1903 - don't have information where he was born. That said - this may be him.
