Just wondering Emily White is living just with George Baxter so could this be a different George to George William say his father?
That's a thought I had, but the address given when that happened was 30 Beales St. The info was found by my father from the electoral registers (I think) at Birmingham Library, there is a possibility that Eva G just never registered herself. The 1939 Register is a mystery though, she is definitely listed as single.
Herberts birth on the BMD's lists the mothers maiden name as Jones.
Looking in the census's of 1901 and 1911 for George Baxter the one that seemed to match (ie born in 1896 in Birmingham) listed his father as William, doesn't mean I have the right one though. A marriage certificate for George William and Eva Georgina, should list his father.
Still, there was connection between Emily and the Baxter's for over 30 years, if there is anyone left that would remember her this may depend on friends or on Herbert having children. After leaving Hansons Bridge Road, George William died in 1984, Eva died in 1991 and Herbert in 1999.
