Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thank you both, what a magnificent castle Forfarian, thank you for the link.....thank you fancy Nancy for your offer to help, what I am trying to link is William LOCKHART (B) around 1696, Birkshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

I have some info that the LOCKHARTS were actually living there and I would like the link if any to William LOCARD then his son Simon........the name spelling seems to have changed.

William Lockhart MAIN and his Mary BRYCE wife's daughter was actually married there at the castle, William parents were John MAIN and Christina LOCKHART......I need to know if Christina was linked to the LOCARDS.....
