Malim, Ann
« on: Sunday 12 November 17 19:17 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find this lady on the 1851 census so I can identify her birthplace.
She was born Ann Cau(c)kwell in about 1773, and married Mark Malim in Feb 1801.  He died in August 1849 ( I have the cert) and she died in Mar 1855 (I also have her cert).  His place of death was 10 Caroline Street Camden, she died 62 Great College Street Marylebone.  They had 5 children:
Martha Patty 1801-1888 (d. Fulham Place London)have this cert
Eliza Ann 1805- ?  no marriage or death found to date
Thomas Caukwell 1807-1891 d St Pancras, I have this cert
Georgiana Isabella 1809-1869 d 27 Camden Street Camden I have this cert
Ann Caukwell 1814-1814
I have tried to look for Martha, who remained a spinster, but she is also elusive.  Thomas married Laura Oliver and had 2 children.  He is also tricky to find in the 1851 and 1861 census.
Georgiana married William Harding, and I have with difficulty been able to track their movements through the relevent census.  William died in 1868, but they had 7 children and I know their whereabouts.
Would be grateful for any help!  Thanks

Sister Sarah Cauckwell attended her during her last illness.

There is also a PCC Will for what looks like her mother Elizabeth 1804 to her daughter Sarah Cauckswell of London.

Many thanks.  I had a suspicion that they may come from Northampton, I'd seen a baptism that seemed to fit, and the will makes sense too.
Still can't Martha anywhere until her death though!
