Could anyone help me please with a marriage with Michael Curtain and Catherine Fitzgerald that took place in Ireland around c1830. Thanking you in advance Flocer Not sure but I think they may have been married in either Cork or Cobh

Civil registration of Catholic marriages started in 1864 (from 1845 for non-Catholic ones) so if they were married in a Catholic ceremony before 1864 you'll need to search church register. Many are online but you really do need a starting location as they are browsable by R.C. parish (remember most took place in bride's church which may, or may not, also be the groom's church).

Any children, do you know where he was buried?
Did he go to the USA, Australia, the UK.

Only one on FindMyPast that looks even remotely worth looking at is the marriage of Michael Curtin and Mary Fitzgerald on 25/11/1837 in Mallow Parish Cork.

I had a look at the Mallow register and they wrote the marriage in on 29 November 1837
