Civil Service 1890-1910
« on: Saturday 04 November 17 16:39 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

My Great Grand Father James Jardine came form Scotland.  All of his adult document - marriage, death, census have his profession as gold coast civil service.  Does anyone have any information on what this is? or how I can find out more?

Thanks
Lynda

Yes and 1902 and 1904.  Don't know what he was doing 1903!

Hi, do you have a relative in the British civil service around 1900?  If so do you have any suggested links that might help me discover more about my relative?

Thanks
