Can any one advise me if a Birth Certificate was required when being married in a civil ceremony in Scotland in 1918.
The marriage/declaration was at 21 Hope Street ,Glasgow. (possibly Solicitors office)

Hi Andrew, there is a thread about this
Scottish Marriage Procedure 1900 started in January 2017.
I don't know how to send a link but if you type Scottish marriage Procedure 1900 into the search box on home page it appears.
You may find some info there,
Anne
