Have hit another brick wall on my search so any advice or help if anyone has the same ancestor would be great, I have got back to the following ancestor if I have followed my tree back correctly but now I am stuck, have gathered info from a few other trees that suggests he's parents were called John and Sarah but I cant confirm any of it

There's another John Groves baptised in Pateley Bridge to William & Anne. 21 Sept 1788.
And another in Myton Upon Swale, to George & Sarah. 3 JUne 1787.

The John Groves in Pocklington had a sister Sarah baptised the same day, mother Sarah Groves of Pocklington, shown as Base born children.

Thanks, seems to be a lot of Sarah's, looks like mother is Sarah and if he had sister that is also Sarah makes you wonder why he married a Sarah, must of been confusing at family get together's
