1841 or 1851 Census TANNER at Linford
« on: Tuesday 02 August 05 22:46 BST (UK) »
Hello

I would be very grateful for a lookup in the 1841 and/or 1851 census for Ringwood/Linford.

1861 Census  RG9/668  Folio 16  Page 3 (at Linford near the High Corner Inn):
William Tanner, Head, M, Age 57, Ag Lab, b Ringwood
Martha Tanner, Wife, M, Age 53, b Ringwood
George Tanner, Son, Age 17, Ag Lab, b Ringwood
Jemima Tanner, Dau, Age 11, b Ringwood.

I am hoping the entries from the earlier census will show a daughter ELIZABETH with this family.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi

Regret that much of the 1841 for Ringwood is so badly faded as to be impossible to read. There were Tanner families in the area but couldn't find yours unfortunately. Also looked at Linford, but nothing there. Afraid I don't have 1851

Sorry couldn't be of more help!

Stuart

Hi Stuart

Thanks for looking anyway.  I am sure that they will be there in 1851 so maybe someone else will be able to help.
