Ghio/Wilson marriage 8 Apr 1897 Bradford, YKS

I'm looking for a marriage in Bradford of a Guiseppi/Joseph Ghio b. 1866 and a Mary/Marie Wilson b. 1870 which, according to their son's birth record in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1907, took place on 8 April 1897 in Bradford, YKS. First child Lizzie Ghio b. 1898 Bradford. I can't find it on  FreeBMD, Ancestry or FindMyPast. Guiseppi was Italian, probably RC. I think there were some RC chapels in Bradford but I don't know how to access their records and I read that before 1898, RC marriages had to be recorded as civil marriages, so I would have thought the records would be held centrally somewhere.

Does anyone have any ideas to help me find Guiseppi/Joseph's father's name please?

As you have already discovered, there doesn't appear to be a marriage registration for Guiseppi and Mary.  RC marriages would be Registrar attended, in the same was as any other Non-Conformist or Register office marriage, so would still have been registered.

Unfortunately not - Mary Ann Wilson married William Dean, and Joseph Watson married Rose Ann Cross.

Joseph is said to have been born in Brescia, Northern Italy - transcribed as Porescia.

Yes, I looked at those entries with longing but concluded they weren't correct. I see there are 4 RC chapels in Bradford. As I have a specific date, it shouldn't be difficult to check those chapels at WYAS I imagine but I don't live anywhere near any of their offices.

Joseph is supposed to have come from Brescia, Italy. FamilySearch does have some records from Brescia but currently can't see any Ghio's born around 1866ish - the entries which are indexed are generally from later - 1880s I think.

I've got him and his family in 1891 in Fulham, 1901 in London and 1911 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Marriage supposedly 1897 in Bradford. Death in 1924 in Lambeth. Also some of family in 1939 with name change. It's the marriage that I really want to find to get his father's name.
