Hi everyone
I am currently looking at a will dated 1794 in Penang (part of British India and under the jurisdiction of the EIC). There were several children and I am interested in finding out exactly what the following bit means "to be distributed by my executors on their severally attaining the age of 16 years and previous to that period such part of the principal and interest of this bequest to be applied towards their maintenance and education as the executors may see fit."
Does severally attained mean as each turned 16 or the estate was distributed once all had turned 16???
