Woodhorn burial records and Freereg

Hi all. Just been down to Northumberland Archives  to confirm some burials at Woodhorn church in 1920's,(on freereg) and to look for others from the 1940's only to find that they have no burial records post 1900 
 Does anyone have any idea where the freereg data comes from?

The relevant page on the Archives website states that they have Woodhorn burial data (parish register) from 1605 until 1986?

This one on freereg appears to have come from a transcript

Is this burials at St Mary, Woodhorn? According to the Northumberland Archives catalogue they hold a burial register for the years 1900 to 1995  http://www.experiencewoodhorn.com/archive.EP%2021~74

Answering my own question  yes it is St Mary's Woodhorn, they are the only Woodhorn registers on freeReg. https://www.freereg.org.uk/freereg_contents/Woodhorn

Hi jenB, kGarrard, yes Woodhorn St Marys. Twice or thrice i've searched for these records and today asked a member of staff for assistance. He confirmed that they don't hold these burial records 

 rosie99 looking at Freereg again i can now see that their records come from a transcript, so i find it odd that the county records office don't have a copy?

Hi Pete

I was at the NBL archives today and asked one of the transcribers of our local parish registers what's going on with the St Marys, Woodhorn burial registers. Apparently since 1900-ish all the "Woodhorn burials" have been at  St Bartholomew's, Newbiggin along the road. Only people who had existing family burial plots continued burying their relations in Woodhorn churchyard.

Both the catalogues at the NBL Archives AND on the National Archives website are WRONG, pertaining to Woodhorn St Mary's records after 1900.

If you give me names and dates I'll check for you.
