Hi Rosie,

I am disappointed in myself really as your method of tracing them should have been one I did myself. Indeed, I had seen this census record but because Julia had been transcribed as Lydia I dismissed it. Should have checked the address!

I will try to be more observant in the future.

FindMyPast has a baptismal record (transcription) for a -
Henry Payne, base born, baptised 18 May 1823, place Longbridge Deverill, mother Lydia Payne.
(Longbridge Deverill about 25 miles from Salisbury)
