1861 Thomas NURSE born 1841 Weybourne, Fisherman, is lodging with the Wards in Weybourne.

He next appears in Northumberland with Brother George and Family

Elizabeth Nurse   6
Charles Nurse   4
James Nurse   2
John Nurse   9 Months
THOMAS Nurse   30 Brother, Widower, Labourer, born Norfolk****

All the others Nurses born Norfolk also.

Thomas then turns up in Durham;
1881 as Thomas NURSE 1839 Nk, Norfolk
1891 as Thomas KURS 1841 Welling, Norfolk
1901 as Thomas NEUSE 1839 Wearburn, Norfolk

He appears to have died 1903 in Durham and never remarried.

Yes that is very possible and I may have misread when/what time when she was last on and saw all the info we posted.
( I am in a different time zone)

Its not how I usually am but have had a lot of people not reply lately and had a bad day at work!

Hi to the Nurse family tree. Just to update you. I went to Newcastle a few weeks ago and visited North Shields where my grandfather's family live. I knocked on the door at the house the family lived in, in 1911. I also visited Linkskill Community centre where I found my grandfather's brother's name on the WW1 memorial garden wall. his name was spelt Nourse.  He died in the 1ST WW. It was an emotional journey.

There is a mass of info regarding the Norfolk Nurses , particularly the Weybourne link, back as far as the mid 1600s.
