Ann Gibson of Easington in Holderness
« on: Friday 18 August 17 14:37 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone

I am researching my Gibson family in Easington East Yorkshire.

I have the Gibson family back to 1734 and before in Easington, so not worried about them, it is Ann Gibson baptised at Easington on 14 Jan 1781 I am concerned with, she had a daughter illegitimate named Jane Gibson baptised at Easington on 25 Feb 1804 and again I have the line downwards, but I am wondering what happened to Ann Gibson, did she marry or where did she go.  Ann could have gone anywhere, any ideas,

Jane Gibson moved away to Hull and married Francis Hunter again no problems with them.
It would be nice to tie this loose end up.  As always many thanks to any helpers.

Of Easington in Holderness Yorkshire.  Thanks

This marriage record on Family search might be worth a look,
I do not see any children for them or census but a number of deaths in and around Hull.

If it's any help, the image for the Eastrington marriage says that Ann Jibson is of the parish of Howden.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hi all

I too am revisiting a branch of the tree I havent gotten far with.

Ann Gibson my ggggm.  I only have the baptism in Easington in Holderness and no trace of her marriage or death or how to prove. Her daughter was Jane Gibson bpt in Easington in Holderness any clues or ideas. All the dates are at the beginning of this post 2019.

Thanks.
