The nearest contemporary reference I can find is a 1903 report of a Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hughes of Ivy Cottage,Denbigh,as cousins and present givers at the wedding of Miss Ellen Evans,daughter of Hugh Evans Gwyndy,to Mr Robert(s) Williams,eldest son of Mr William Williams,Cae Drain,Henllan.
