ETHELL Family in Fleetwood

hi there a few different family,s in fleetwood the person i lived with was Micheal Ethell and was in the army,his mum is still alive and is called Edith,his dad is dead if i have this right his dad died in a trawler accident the ship went down with ever body still on it a few year,s ago they were talking about bring it up but i don,t know what happen ,if that was,nt his dad then it was his uncle as he was brought up my his aunt and this uncle,they are a large family,Micheal ,s birthday is Feb 1961 i think the 4th,he was the black sheep of the family as the rest all went to sea he joined the army.he has 2 son,s Darren and Wayne he is in the army,and a granddaughter called Jennifer the other brother,s are Steven,aged in his 40,s Sharon same Paul,john,think he is the youngest,and then Keith,but never saw much of him allways at sea i am sure there is another one,could be wrong.it is 8year,s since i last saw him,Michael used to play a bugle in some band can,t remember the name but can see the place in my mind it will come back to me have a photo of the band also have load,s of photo,s of him there is allot about the family but i don,t think i would be able to put it this web page,ant question,s you have please ask if i can help i will, any thing else i think of i will let you know,,all the best Jacquie,

hi Dortmund.
i can,t remember anything else about the family they used keep thing,s to them self,s i have been trying to remember his auntie,s maiden name ,but can,t but as far as i know they were all fisher men i could be wrong,i will see if i can find anything else out for you ,i can get the address for you if you want i am going to ring his mum up some time this week as i have some news i want her to pass on i will see if i can find out anything from her,but they are a strange family,something tell,s me these are not your family,i can,t really say on a computer,but any will keep trying for you .

Hi Jacquie, The top page Dormont put re ethell family,Margaret ethell was my great grandmother, i think the Ethells you have maybe a different Ethell family and not related.regards paula

Just curious as to know your connection with the Ethell family.  Are you related? You seem to have info on other families as well. My father was John William Ethell, his parents were Ben and Margaret Ethell from Fleetwood.

My connection to the ETHELL family is through my maternal grandmother, she was Elizabeth Ethell 1868 - 1946, dau of Richard Ethell 1830-1880 and Harriet Revis 1838-1924.
