Gravestone translation

Hi, Thomas Roberts (1802-1860) was my ggggrandfather. He was a blacksmith in Newborough. I found his gravestone behind the Ebeneser chapel in Newborough. I think it says C Jones was his mum, who died 1849 aged 99. This would have her age 51-2 when he was born. This doesn't sound right (?)
Also, who would Catherine Pierce be?

In welsh it says-
C Jones / mam T Roberts Gof / a fu farw 16 lon 1849 / yn 99 oed/
Hefyd T Roberts / a fu farw 5 Mawrth 1860 / yn 58 oed

Hefyd/ Catherine Pierce / yr hon a fu farw yr 51 O / Gorphenaf 1886 yn 38 / mlwydd oed

Hope someone can help me understand things better.

It certainly seems to read thus

C Jones/mother of T Roberts Blacksmith/who died 16 Jan 1849/ aged 99 years
Also T Roberts/ who died 5 March 1860/ aged 58

Also/ Catherine Pierce/ who died aged on the [51??] /July 1886 at 38/years of age

There's a Catherine Pierce b c1848, Newborough on 1851, 61 and 71.  her parents appear to be Owen and Elizabeth Pierce.

GRo has a birth for a Catherine Pierce, Carnarvon district (which covered Anglesey in those days) Q1 1848, mmn Roberts

Elizabeth Pierce is generally listed as b c1829, Llanidan or Newborough

The 1841 census entry for Thomas Roberts, smith, in Newborough also has this household at the same address

Margaret Jones - 40
Mary Roberts - 15
Elizabeth Roberts - 13
John Roberts - 10
Elin Roberts - 6

There's a nonconfirmist record, certifying that Elizabeth Thomas, daughter of Thomas Roberts and Margaret Jones his wife, who was daughter of Richard Jones, was born in the place commonly known as  [not easy to read, but could b Yr Efail - the Forge] in the parish of Llanidan in the parish of Anglesey on 25 March 1829

Potentially some patronymic naming here - which could explain his mother being a Jones. Potentially Catherine Pierce is thomas' granddaughter

Wonderful job Mabel. Cleared up who Catherine Pierce was and why she was on the gravestone.

I have Thomas' mum down as Catherine (Jones) and father as Thomas. Just a bit sceptical that Catherine was 51-2 when her "son" was born. Do you think mam could mean grandmother, and I have a missing generation who died, with young Thomas brought up by his grandmother?

Just to strengthen the case Thomas Roberts & Margaret Jones baptise a son Thomas b 15 Nov 1820 in Llanidan. Father is described as a smith. then there's Mary Thomas Roberts baptised in a Wesleyan chapel in Beaumaris 6 Mar 1825, daughter of Thomas Roberts, blacksmith of Llanidan and Margaret Jones.

I think this is Catherine's death registration, using her husband's surname

Thanks again Mabel. This is the top part of Catherine's gravestone. The Thomas Roberts are confusing, mostly blacksmiths.
Thomas Roberts (born about 1750 Catherine's husband), Thomas (born 1802 her son), Thomas (born 1820).
