I can't see any obvious immigration record for Susan or the sister Margaret.

And I can't see a marriage or death for an Emily. 🤔

Michael T. KEON of Mudgee is described as a brother to all three however it is probable that Margaret was his mother and she was closer to 70 in age.

Debra  :)

Yes, the  Margaret who died was 70 1885, which would be a year or so after the immigration Debra has spotted.  The Margaret on the manifest was 56. ::)

However the advertisement from  Maria in Massachusetts placed in 1900 does say sister Margaret.
The implication is that Margaret the sister did also immigrate.

Interestingly, Maria does not seem to seek the whereabouts of her other siblings in Australia, just Margaret and Michael.

Well, perhaps FitzMurray, our OP, who has been online today will soon let us all know whether the information we have found is of interest.

Meantime, I wondered about this passenger arrival.

From London. Arrived August 24th, 1889
Coptic
Steerage for Sydney Misses Bridget and Susan KEON.
http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/9218662
Did Bridget KEON return to UK, collect Susan then come back to Sydney?

In 1920, Susan A KEON of Roseville donated in memory of parents and sisters.

Could Bridget be Margaret jnr, as in Margaret Bridget, or Bridget Margaret?

Or maybe she arrived in Australia married.

Wow! Thank you all, I'm blown away by all the information you've come up with! I do feel a bit silly that I didn't first check newspapers for information, a lesson learned! Many more siblings of Michael and Phillip have come to light now, and you've found their mother's emigration and death as well! The mother Margaret's husband Michael Tobyn Keon the elder died in Carricknabrack, Drumshanbo in 1877 (with Susan A Keon present), so that ties in with her coming to Australia in 1884 with Bridget and Emily. On rereading my notes, I'm not certain which ship Michael emigrated on as there are 2 references I've found - as unassisted immigrant to Victoria aged 17 in 1863 on the Camperdown; and to Sydney, as assisted immigrant on the Ocean Empress aged 23 in 1864. You were right to suggest I check, Dundee - on Phillip's 1874 marriage his parents are listed as Michael Tobyn Keon and Margaret O'Beirne. Thanks again everyone!
