Michael Tobyn Keon and other Tobyn Keons

Hi, I'm hoping someone out there might have more information on the Tobyn Keons of Drumshanbo, Leitrim, Ireland. Phillip Tobyn Keon (born about 1839) came to Australia in 1857, brother Michael Tobyn Keon (born about 1843) in 1864. I'd like to confirm whether Michael and Phillip's parents were Michael Keon and Margaret O'Byrne, and if they had any siblings.

I'd like to confirm whether Michael and Phillip's parents were Michael Keon and Margaret O'Byrne

Here is Michael's death in Victoria with parents named:

Reg. year1923 Reg. no14814 KEON Michael Tobyn father KEON Michael Tobyn Mother Margaret (Obyrne) Fitzroy South aged 79

Philip remarried in Victoria in 1874, so if the parents named on his marriage cert match those named when Michael died and also taking the newspaper item into account then that is probably as confident as you can get that the names are correct.

Unfortunately it appears that there are no surviving Catholic registers for Drumshanbo prior to 1861.

I cannot easily see an immigration record for Michael; which ship did he arrive on?

In 1881 he sponsored Bridget and Susan KEON, but they declined to emigrate.

In 1884 he sponsored Bridget (27), Emily J. (24) and Margaret (56) all of Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrem who arrived on the ship Warwick. Michael T. KEON of Mudgee is described as a brother to all three however it is probable that Margaret was his mother and she was closer to 70 in age.
