Annie, I don't know much about my G-Uncle Colin but the picture must have been taken before 1915 and not sure where. I know he was in the states after that date. Thanks for taking a look.

leon,annies right about the regt,and it was taken before the war,hes a piper,great picture,if he was in the 1st battalion,then his bandmaster was probably edmund,maxwell mcdonald or john garrett,his drum major f.e kirton and his pipe major james douglas or r.macfarlane,annie,the bonnett is correct,its a pipers ostrich feathered bonnet,leon have you got the e,mail address or phone number for their museum,they may have summat about your g/father +uncle,let me know and i will post them,mack
