Hi
I don't know the area well but apparently Longridge was part of the parish of St Wilfred's Ribchester.
It's not either or but both.
Looking at the original entry, same volume or book ,it's the same page indexed twice with a space for Ribchester entries and another on the same page for Longridge.
Richard and Alice twins of William Clayton of Dilworth were baptised 24.7.1791 in the Ribchester section.(below on the page is the section for Longridge).
Other children, first at Longridge -William 1.2.1784 s of William and Mary of Dilworth and brother James 20.11.1785,then Ribchester -Thomas 2.3.1788 s of William of Dutton,John 30.9.1792 s of William of Ribchester,Ann 3.11.1793 of Ribchester-27.8.1793,Alice 3.1.1796 of Ribchester.
Burial for William of Dilworth at Ribchester 11.3.1802 and Mary wife of William Dec 1796.
Hope that solves the problem
