FAMILY SEARCH PROBLEM

However I try to get there, Family Search is giving me a problem. Shortcuts and links and even a direct search and I can`t access it,  I keep getting security warnings.
Annoying as I was using it earlier today.

Is anyone else getting this .

Windows 8.1
Census information is Crown Copyright (see: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk)

I am also getting it - using windows 8.1  ;D

Same for me on the iPad.

I will try searching and go from there rather than using a shortcut.

Added, still the same, cannot verity security certificate.

No doubt Familysearch will sort it soon.

Their Cert has expired - not good reflection on their Admin ... see if theres a 'Create Exception' or 'Ignore/Accept' option - I'd think they are trustworthy, albeit incompetent ...

Yes. Now they seem to have an internal sever error message up as well.

I'm getting it too, I'm using Windows 10 Pro and Firefox.  I think it has something to do with the site itself.

I clicked on the "advanced" button and got this message:

"Familysearch.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on June 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM. The current time is June 5, 2017 at 3:18 PM. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE"

It is because the site starts with "https" apparently it is supposed to be secure, other sites like RC for example don't have the https in front of the "www"



There is apparently a way to bypass the block.  If you click on the advanced button and see that message there is an "add exception" button, that will pop up a box with an option to override the block.

Even if you override the block, the website doesn't seem to be working. You can perform a search, but if you try to open a document, you are given an error message. Refreshing redirects to the internal sever error message.
