Lookup Request for 1970s Portsmouth

Hello everyone. I have a request if anyone can help please. I've been side tracked from my own family tree and I'm looking for details of B and J Clark (or Clarke) who lived in Portsmouth (Lyndhurst Road) about 1968 to about 1974. I'm looking for a marriage date or birth of any children. I think they moved from Lyndhurst Road in 1974 but i would be grateful to get an exact date and where they moved to which I think was somewhere in Cosham still in Portsmouth.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think they are still alive but understand and appreciate the Rootschat policy 100%.
So I can still make enquiries out use of the site, is there a site which I can look at which might include Kelly's Directories or electoral role sites for the 1970s?

Online Electoral registers start from around 2002 but prior to that - you would need to know their address after they moved from Lyndhurst Rd to search local electoral registers

Have you tried using directory enquiries on the BT website.  Only works if they still subscribe to BT and are not ex-directory   www.thephonebook.bt.com

There is a paysite www.peopletracer.co.uk but this is linked to electoral registers so only useful from 2002 onwards

Marriage & birth of children you may be able to get from freebmd - not complete but some marriages cover to around 1969 and births to the mid-late 1970's    www.freebmd.org.uk

After that date you would need to use one of the subscription sites
