George Cross

Hello
I'm trying to find out about George Cross (the person....not the medal!).
I know that he was born in 1753 in West Halton, North Lincolnshire,
I also know that at some time he got married to Jemima but that's all I do know.
If anyone could help me I will be very grateful.

EDIT I can see a Thomas Cross 25th April 1783 Caistor  to a George & Jemima?

So how do you know the father of the Thomas in 1783 Caistor was the same one born in 1853 West Halton?

I can't actually remember how I arrived at that one......
Why do you ask, do you think I have arrived at the wrong person? ??

  You could well be right, but the question is with a name like George Cross he could have been born anywhere other than Lincolnshire?
What do you know of Thomas?
