Member connect gives you sources that have been saved to others trees. They are sources that you have already saved to your own tree. I always click on the user to see if they might be worth getting in connect with and thus far all have been public trees.

In my case, I don't have a tree on Ancestry, it's all kept private in my own paper files (yes, I still use lever-arch files & feel much safer for doing so
) with a working copy on a computer that isn't internet connected (coz it uses the old XP os)
