I am trying to get any leads on my great great grandparents
John Clayton possible birth 1784 in Glentworth, Lincolnshire, England who married
Elizabeth (Isabel) Webber possible birth 28 Apr 1792 in Stainton Le Vale, Lincolnshire, England

Had a look at Trees.

Did those names as Parents come from the Death Cert of John Clayton born 1822 London?
Died 1907 Australia?

One Tree has John Snr dying 1831 London.

I have found the 1851 Census Lincs where those dob/pob's are given for John/Elizabeth Clayton you mention.

There is this Marriage;

25 May 1779, St Michael, Glentworth. Lincolnshire
John CLAYTON, Labourer to Rebekah HURD, Spinster
Both of Glentworth Parish at time of Marriage

2nd Marriage;
Rebecca CLAYTON, Widow***, married JOSEPH WALKER, Widower, 19 Dec 1799 same Church

Burial;
REBECCA Walker, Wife of JOSEPH Walker, 16 April 1818 same Church. Age 71**
Joseph Walker was buried 19 Aug 1843 age 90*


On FreeREG.

1861 Elizabeth is born c 1791.

John Clayton baptised Glentworth 4.12.1784 s of John and Rebekah
siblings- Mary 12.3.1780
             Jane29.8.1781
             Nathaniel  20.5.1786
             Edward  24.5.1788 father labourer
             Dixon 27.10.1790
             Rebekah 19.11.1782
             George  24.10.1789
             William 25.5.1793

The couple married  25.5.1779 John Clayton and Rebekah Hurd both of this parish.
John was buried 1742-22.4.1794
Rebecca remarried a Joseph Walker widower 19.12.1799 and she was buried 16.4.1818,her birth 1747.
Not sure of John's senior  baptism but I'd go with Wickenby 29.3.1740 to William and Mary.
Rebecca Hurd 13.3.1746 d of William and Rebecca at Glentwoth.The couple had married 27.5.1746,her name Rebecca Dixon.

You must have the marriage in 1810 to have Elizabeth's maiden name and the 1851 census which gives their birthplaces so what do you want to know?

I can't find Elizabeth's birth but you must already have an idea to have the birth date.

Hi Ciderdrinker.

 I think there is something wrong here.
Trees have John Clayton/Elizabeth Webber marrying 1810 (from memory in London)
Dont know if this is the right Marriage though that why I asked what supported it.

Son John born 1822 married in Australia.

1851 John/Elizabeth are in Blyton, Lincs
Thats where those pob/dob come from.

1841 in Blyton we have;
John Clayton, 55
Elizabeth Clayton, 45
John Clayton, 9*****
So 1832???

Hi Trish 1120 and Ciderdrinker.
This is great thank you for replying.  I am trying to recreate their tree with a little more fact. The son John born 1822 married in Australia is the one I want to branch off. 
He was my great grandfather and married Emma Hursfield in Australia.
I am hoping to get back further than John and Isabel in my tree.
This all sounds promising with parents for John Snr as well.

Yes the parents names did come from the Death Cert of John Clayton born 1822 London?

Can anyone find anymore detail on this John (my great grandfather) baptism?

He died 18 December 1907 buried Kerang Cemetery Victoria Australia.
Death Certificate only says aged 85, which does equate to 1822.
Place of birth only says London England?

Ok I dont think the Lincs ones are yours.

Someone has John Snr dying 1832 London.

I'm busy at the moment, dinner etc, will see what I can find later.
