trying to find the burial  place of James Stacey born 1820 St.Pancras, who died in 1861 in the St.Georges Hanover Square area
Havent so far found either of his marriages, and presume the records are lost---his second marriage--if there was one was to Mary Brockey Boston, and his first was to Elizabeth Webster of Northampton shire
Any help would be wonderful

Now on 1861 there's this chap in St George Hanover Sq

Mary Stacey    48 - binder b Tonbridge Kent
James Stacey    13 - b Marylebone
Thomas Stacey    11 - b Marylebone

RG 9,  41, 46, 12

Note the change of occupation and different children. this chap appears to be on 1851 in Marylebone. 

There's a death of a James Stacey aged 40 in Jan-March 1861 - ie before the census, so I'm not sure why you know  your James marries/is involved with Mary if he dies before they can be enumerated together and you don;t have the marriage, unless you are looking at this Mary

James Stacey s of Richard and Elizabeth nee Burge d of Nathaniel Burge 25.3.1821 born 6 Sep 1820 of Croydon Street  Marylebone.

Yes we have James birth, his death was in 1861 and listed as St.James Court, Farm Street,Berkeley Square in the registration district of St Georges Hanover Square
He was a dyer and his first family are with him on the 1851 census
They flitted about a lot
His first child has been transcribed as Bei and is unreadable!
His first wife died in 1853,His second family has 2 further children --Sophie, and Charles  who was my grandfather
I really only  wanted to know where it would be likely he would have been buried, and if it would be possible to find any record
He was not the James Stacey -bookmaker, and yes we believe him to be the son of Richard and Elizabeth

There were very few parish burials in the metropolitan area by this date, and he was probably buried in one of Westminster’s outlying municipal cemeteries.

The most likely place is Hanwell (in Ealing, but managed by Westminster). Their pre-1867 records have not been deposited at Westminster Archives and are therefore not online. Unless you can get to Hanwell yourself, you would have to contact the cemetery direct and pay for a burial register search, which can be quite costly.
