I would like to know if my late father left a will when he died in 1986 in Dublin?
Does anyone know where I apply to and would it still be valid after 31 years?

Looks like they are held at the National Archives, Dublin

The NA website appears to say they only hold records up to 1982. I would try emailing the probate office in Dublin. Although, the website only seems to give telephone numbers
Found an email address!

Thanks for the link. I thought I read somewhere that they were kept up until 1982. I will email them and see what they say.

I have just sent an email, so hopefully I will get a reply tomorrow.
That site is enough to confuse a police horse 😂.
