14,000 WW2 Metal Dog Tags finder looking for owners. Video.

Hi
14,000 metal dog tags of WW2 Heroes have been found buried beside the site of a WW2 anti-aircraft battery just outside London.They represent almost every army regiment including men who stormed the beaches of Normandy.The site they were found was near a former factory which made them.
There is a video which can be viewed on the site.The finder is looking for owners or the families to return them he has had some success with a few of them.

The man who found these has now shut down his social media pages and emails and disappeared but he has family dog tags. Does anyone know how to get these dog tags please?

I have tried emailing his associate Katey in the USA, all just bounce back. The Wartime Memories Project do not know what has happened either or how to contact him.

Strange, I was of the opinion that UK dog tags were made of a plastic substance. like my fathers were not metal.

I think they were made of some sort of fibre board.

I served in the RAF from 1970 to 1993 and only saw my dog tags occasionally they were a sort of fibre board, I know the americans had metal ones though.
