looking for information on William John Hill who was chief cook on HMS Curlew.He was my grandfather and I.m desperate to find out anything about him.He died in 1921 in Portsmouth and that is all I know.Would appreciate anything.

Was he married to your grandmother as the marriage certificate should give some information on his father.

On your previous post you said you already had the info that members had posted and just wanted a photograph?

You also said he was born 1868 which does not correspond with the death in 1920

Presume this is the death you mention but no middle name so where did you get William John Hill from?
