Dear Ros and Cupoflife and other family researchers. I am so appreciative of the information I have received. I would really love to learn enough to eventually help other people just as I am receiving help. The resources available are unbelievable compared to 20+ years ago when my husbands mother was researching her family history.
What a difficult period they lived in with all the men going off to war and their wives left behind.
Oswald Mills went to war and was injured in France (gunshot wound to his knee).  I have found out that later in life he was in a wheelchair with both legs being amputated.
