PRENDERGAST - Waterford 1890's

[Mrs Teddy Bear]

I am trying to find a connection for my Aussie cousin. His maternal grandma was Alice Prendergast born in Waterford in around 1895-1905. She married Andrew McLaughlin and they lived in Cork until she died in 1983. Any help would be appreciated.

Prendergast name is more Kilkenny on the border of Waterford.  People from South Kilkenny would be born in Waterford.  Try Kilkenny (South) for more info

thanks for that, I am beginning to think that perhaps the lady in qustion was not actually born there but moved there as a girl.
